Roles

Role and permission editing lives at /admin/shield/roles. It is kept out of the sidebar on purpose — it is a rare super-admin task.

Use it to:

• Inspect which permissions admin, teacher, and staff have
• Grant or revoke a resource for a role
• Confirm a new teacher or admin received the right role (teachers are assigned teacher automatically on create)

Day-to-day student approval, enrollments, and catalog work do not need this page.
